How to set a bewitching table

October brings crisp, cool nights and Halloween frights. If you’re dreaming of a hosting a spell-binding feast but aren’t sure witch way to party, here is an idea! You see, we’ve been brewing up a witch table theme for a long time, and now we’re ready to present a table arrangement that’ll sweep you off your feet.

Bring some ghoulish glamour to the room with paper décor in the shape of bats, spiders and other Halloween-inspired motifs and hang a witch hat from the ceiling instead of a chandelier. If you have a broom made of straw or bamboo in the cupboard, put it on the wall and let different types of everyday objects hang from it – such as a dark nightgown and a pair of black boots. And here is another DIY idea that’ll suit your Halloween theme: fill apothecary jars with creepy-crawlies to make your own mad scientist lab. Doesn’t that sound fab?

Please be seated!

Now it’s time to lay the table. Place a web tablecloth on the table and decorate with spiders, popping eyeballs and bone-chilling tealights with a fake, flickering flame (the devil is in the detail).

Let your guests eat from ghoulish plates and touch glasses with matching cups. Serve spider cider from a skull-shaped bottle, fill up a cauldron with wrapped treats and load a vending machine with suitable sweets.

Best witches for a haunting Halloween!
