DIY carnival mask tutorial

Dress up in disguise and have the most wonderful time together! Winter is the season for carnivals all over the world, but you can play and pretend that you’re somebody else every day of the year. Here, we give you instructions for how to make your own mesmerising masquerade mask.

By the way, did you know that in Medieval times the carnival season was about turning the world upside down? It was an opportunity for a servant to be crowned and act as king for a day.

What you will need

Napkins Party Flying Tiger Copenhagen
Origami paper.
Scissors.
Pom poms.

Here is how

Your DIY ingredients: Cardboard, Scissors, Pencil, Crayon, Glue, Decorative stickers and Wooden craft stick

1. Start by folding the cardboard once down the middle.

2. Place your hand onto each side of the paper so that the two hands meet and form a fan. Then, draw your left and right hand.

3. Take the scissors and cut out the joined hands.

4. Cut a hole in the middle for the eyes to see out of.

5. Colour your mask on one of the sides.

6. Take the glue and paste a craft stick at the back.

7. Decorate your mask with stickers.

Ta-da! Your carnival mask is complete!
