Choose classic motifs or plain styles that mix easily with everyday ceramics. Pair mugs with napkins, coasters and a small tray to keep serving neat on sofas and desks. For sweet moments, add a treat bowl for biscuits or marshmallows and refill little and often. Low heights and side lighting help photos look clear and welcoming.
Set up a small hot drink station: mugs stacked safely, spoons in a pot, cocoa and tea within reach, and a cloth for quick wipe-downs. Keep a lidded tin for biscuits so the surface resets quickly between rounds. If you are gifting, wrap two mugs with tissue and a tag so the pair feels thoughtful and ready to use.
