Copenhagen, 25 September 2025
Flying Tiger Copenhagen has entered three new Southeast Asian markets – Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand – bringing the Danish retailer’s global footprint to 41 markets worldwide.
The roll-out targets 130 store openings over the coming years across three new markets, while plans for 2025 include the opening of 2 stores in Singapore, 7 in Malaysia, and 8 in Thailand.
Singapore and Malaysia have celebrated their market launches in recent weeks, while the grand opening ceremony in Thailand will take place on Thursday 25 September 2025 in Bangkok. In all three markets, the stores will be located in high-traffic shopping malls, reflecting the brand’s focus on accessibility and visibility in key urban destinations
Martin Jermiin, Group CEO of Flying Tiger Copenhagen, said: “It is truly something special to be able to welcome customers in three new markets within just eight weeks. Our strong core market in Europe continues to be the engine that powers our international expansion, enabling us to grow with confidence in new regions. We are delighted and grateful to now be present in these dynamic shopping destinations, spanning from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok, and Singapore, where we already have a regional office to support operations.”
These launches not only expand the company’s global footprint but also strengthen its presence across the wider APAC region, underscoring the role of Southeast Asia in Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s international growth journey.
Martin Jermiin added: “Strong, strategic partners are key to our continued growth, and the franchise track is becoming an increasingly important part of our business model. By strengthening these partnerships, we ensure that Flying Tiger Copenhagen is well positioned to succeed and adapt in diverse markets.”
