DIY gift bow whoa

What in heaven’s name are you doing under the mistletoe or out there playing in the winter snow?! Time is much better spent on a DIY gift bow.

Follow the easy steps below. Once you get the hang of it you won’t stop. Of course, you can use any kind of wrapping paper, even patterned or different colours of gift wrap foil.

For a playful expression, mix patterned bows with different patterned wrapping paper. You can also make different sized bows, just remember that the smaller the bow gets, the more skill and fine motor control you’ll need.

Now, on your marks, get set and go for a bow whoa.

How to

1. Cut a square piece of wrapping paper.

2. Fold it into a triangle, first on one side, then the next.

3. Cut along both folds.

4. Cut off one of the triangles.

5. Glue each corner to the centre of the paper.

6. Cut off the excess paper.

7. Make the ends pretty.

8. Cut another square piece and glue it onto the bow.
