DIY countdown for a Xmas calendar

Start a green tradition this Xmas and make an advent calendar by reusing a cardboard box from one of your online purchases. This DIY calendar is super simple, yet it so oozes Xmas cheer, acting as an eye-catching countdown for the real biggie – Xmas. Imagine being those lucky little ones waking up every morning to unwrap the gifts.

Among this year’s trending colours are the traditional Xmas colours of red and green, for sure, but bright colours are also on the up. So, if you’re game, use bright, bold and neon for a whole ‘nother, yet quite amazing expression.

Now the only thing left is to come up with brilliant gift ideas. We’re so glad you asked! Explore our brand-new range of wonderful and imaginative toys. A world of unicorns, ponies and dragons. Drawing paper, play food and wooden toys made from responsibly harvested trees – more than 500 eco-conscious items to choose from.

Now, begin by painting the ‘boughs’ and prepare the gifts while the (eco-conscious) paint dries.

How to

1. Draw boughs on the cardboard.

2. Cut out the boughs.

3. Paint the boughs green.

4. Put your gifts in the gift bags and add a sticker on each gift.

5. Join up the gifts with a piece of string.

6. Join up the boughs with string glued to each cardboard piece (or use a stapler).

7. Now attach the string with the gifts to the Xmas tree.

.

8. Hang the calendar on a hook or a nail. And here you go, merry Xmas.
