We’re proud to be part of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), as it reflects our commitment to promoting the responsible management of forests. Forests play a crucial role in maintaining climate stability, regulating our water supply and serving as habitats for over half of the planet’s species. At Flying Tiger Copenhagen, a significant portion of the materials we use come from forests or have an impact on them. Consequently, we’re dedicated to ensuring the health and responsible management of these vital resources. Among other things, an FSC certification entails the protection of biodiversity and respect for the rights of local people, as well as those working within the forest.

Our FSC-certified product portfolio includes notebooks, gift wrapping, napkins and paper cups. In 2022, 93% of our wood and paper products were FSC-certified. Although this is an impressive achievement, we recognise that there is room for further improvement. That is why we are steadfast in our commitment to bringing that number up even further. Today, our customers will predominantly find FSC-certified wood and paper products in our stores. As for store furniture, we began to incorporate FSC-certified wood in 2012. Since then, all new store furniture is FSC-certified, while older store furniture will transition to FSC-certification in accordance with their usual refurbishing cycle.
