You don’t need superpowers to be a superhero!

Get involved in helping seriously ill children and young people

The domestic charity association We4you supports seriously ill children and young adults as well as their families. We4you is a constant presence in the everyday lives of these families and in times of crisis.

Our partnership with We4you began in spring 2020 when we first donated Easter bunnies to cheer up young patients in hospitals. Since then, our cooperation has expanded across Finland, bringing joy to numerous seriously ill children and young adults. We organise VIP store visits outside of regular business hours for children in isolation and their families, providing them with a chance to have fun in our stores. Additionally, we distribute gift bags to more than 12 hospitals during major public holidays. Since 2020, almost 6,000 of these bags have been distributed!

In 2023, together with our wonderful customers, we donated an incredible €184,246 to We4you. This generous amount significantly aids families in need, fulfilling the dreams and wishes of terminally ill children and young adults and supporting families in crisis situations.

In 2024, we are developing our support for We4you and the families they assist even more. On Valentine's Day, February 14th, we launched the new and expansive Superhero product line, from which a portion of the profit in our Finnish stores is donated to We4you. Customers can easily recognise these products by the We4you logo next to the price tags. Additionally, we will celebrate Superhero Week four times throughout the year, where donations will be collected at our cash registers to fulfill the dreams of terminally ill children. It's heartening to see our customers' growing awareness of this unique association, which was a significant factor in the success of our 2023 collections. Notably, of the total €184,246 collected in 2023, a remarkable €110,000 came from donations made at cash registers—a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed!

Superhero Week peaks with Superhero Days in all our stores, where we celebrate children, the impactful work of We4you, and our collaborative efforts with our customers. During Superhero Days, our stores host a special event for children themed around Superheroes.

The foundation of We4you is transparency. The 2023 financial report (Annual Report and Financial Report 2023 – we4you), which can be seen on their website (we4you – charitable association), shows that in 2023, as much as 99.13% of the money collection funds were directed to the implementation of good causes. You can also follow their activity on many different social media channels like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
