How to set a pumpkin table

Autumn hasn’t officially begun before orange pumpkins light up the October dark. If you’re hosting a Halloween party and want your table arrangement to look absolutely smashing, go ahead and steal our pumpkin theme.

Start by decorating the room with festive paper pumpkins that you can hang from the ceiling. You’ll also want to blow up a ‘Happy Halloween’ balloon banner. Lay a crisp tablecloth – it’s a special occasion! – and place a pumpkin napkin on top of each plate.

You’re hosting a spooktacular feast and not a romantic candlelight dinner, so skip the candles and arrange a patch of pumpkin tealight holders instead. You can also opt for pumpkin string lights. And remember to make room for a decorative, orange-coloured bouquet!

More is more when it comes to Halloween décor, so see if you can squeeze in a couple of decorative ceramic ghosts. And if you really want to wow your guests, let them drink spider cider from ghost and pumpkin mugs. And of course, your table arrangement also needs a perfectly carved pumpkin.

Serve delightful treats in spooktacular ceramic bowls – popping eyeballs and marshmallow pumpkins are yummy hits. If you have extra time, why don’t you mummify some muffins and scarify some cupcakes?

Happy Halloween and have a ghourd evening!
