Our green journey

We’ve embarked on a climate-friendly journey with our products

Here are just some of the ways we’re working towards a greener future.

A natural choice

The world has limited resources, so we prefer to go with renewable materials whenever it’s doable. Resources such as seaweed, wheat straw, wood and bamboo are all renewable materials made from naturally grown resources.

Why waste the world?

Every time a material is reused, we prevent creating waste. Glass and stainless steel are durable and eco-friendly materials. Stainless steel is easy to re-melt and can be reused infinitely, without any quality degradation. Glass collected for recycling has a lower melting temperature, reducing its carbon footprint.

FSC® − we got a green license

Did you know that our paper products and most of our wooden products come from sustainable forestry? All notebooks, napkins and most of our single-use tableware products carry the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) tree logo on the packaging to make it easier for you to make conscious choices as a consumer.

When you see the FSC label, it means:
· The forests are allowed to regenerate naturally.
· The FSC protects the people working in the forest, and the wildlife living in it.
· Local workers receive training and decent wages.

Say no to single use

Did you know that we’ve a large assortment of reusable everyday products? For example, our personal care products include reusable cleansing wipes, cotton pads and silicone buds. In our kitchen range, you can find reusable coffee filters, food wrap, drinking straws and baking liners, to name a few. By minimising single use, we protect the planet’s resources and prevent creating waste.

Let’s cut the rubbish

Packaging has a large environmental impact. To operate more sustainably we’ve embarked on a journey to optimise and reduce our packaging. The packaging for our phone covers is a good example. On the packaging to the right we’ve kissed plastic goodbye and cut down on the cardboard. This way we meet two of our packaging principles: minimising packaging and reducing the use of mixed materials.

Carry with a clear conscience

We give old bottles a new lease of life with our eco-friendly plastic bags - isn’t that fantastic? Our new sustainable bag is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. We hope you’ll use the bag again and again. And when it’s worn out, it can be recycled all over again.

Sustainable steps

We have far more steps on our eco-friendly journey. We’re committed to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and use them as a guidance.

Some of our targets are:
2025
· 50% reduction of plastic products
· 50% recycled plastic in plastic products
· 50% reduction of single-use products
