You do not need superpowers to be a superhero!

Four times a year, Flying Tiger Copenhagen raises money for Barncancerfonden in all our stores across Sweden.

Barncancerfonden works to ensure that everyone affected by childhood cancer not only survives but also leads a good and long life. To combat childhood cancer and its various consequences, Barncancerfonden's operations are based on three objectives: research and education, advice and support, and information.

Since its inception in 1982, survival rates have increased from 50% to 85%. Despite this, childhood cancer remains the most common cause of death among children aged 1-14. However, there is hope. Thanks to generous donations from individuals, organisations, and companies, new research projects have been launched that aim to find more effective and less harsh treatments to alleviate and cure childhood cancer.

Since 2017, we and our wondereful customers have collected over SEK 14 million for Barncancerfonden and equivalent organisations in the other Nordic countries. These funds have, among other things, contributed to research that has identified new cancer-causing mutations. Additionally, successful research—made possible by Barncancerfonden’s partners—has led to the development of new medications, giving several Swedish children with previously incurable cancer a second chance.
